Wellesley Apple Butter and Cheese Festival

Filled with familiar faces and random encounters with old friends, apple fritters and locally made butters and cheeses, horse drawn carriage rides and farm tours – my annual hometown festival is what I look forward to each Fall.

It was a gorgeous day on Saturday, so “J” and I headed out to Wellesley for the annual Apple Butter and Cheese Festival. After chatting some old friends & family, and checking out the local vendors, we mowed down a sausage on a bun followed by some famous Wellesley Apple Fritters… I swear there is nothing like them!

Around noon we called it a successful day after we realized we didn’t eat too much, or spend a small fortune (which is very easy to do at these festivals!).

Do you attend festivals or events in your hometown?
