Running has been my faithful companion, a constant in the ebb and flow of life as a business owner and mom. Amidst the whirlwind of responsibilities, running has become my sanctuary—a cherished escape that breathes serenity into my long, (and sometimes stressful) days.

My love affair with running began 13 years ago when I first laced up my shoes and hit the country backroads with tentative strides. (If you’ve been a long-time reader of my blog, you’d know that back in the day I used to do exercise recaps that included my run stats… yeah, at some point I thought I’d be a “running” blogger! 😂) Little did I know, that this seemingly simple act would evolve into a lifelong passion. Slices of luscious smoked salmon, hard-boiled eggs, and refreshing cucumber are elevated thanks to the deliciousness of zesty red onions, briny capers, and a sprinkle of everything bagel seasoning. Tie it all together with a dollop of creamy cream cheese with a tangy lemon twist. This bowl is my go-to for an energy boost any time of day!


Units Scale
  • 50 g smoked salmon
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, halved
  • 2 mini cucumbers, sliced
  • 1/4 cup pea sprouts
  • 1 slice red onion
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp capers
  • 1 tsp everything bagel seasoning
  • Squeeze of fresh lemon


  1. Arrange smoked salmon, eggs, cucumbers, pea sprouts, onion, and cream cheese in a large bowl.
  2. Sprinkle with capers and everything bagel seasoning.
  3. Squeeze 1/4 slice of fresh lemon over entire dish. Enjoy!

  1. I love how simple this was to make. Easy to pull together after a workout. I didn’t use capers tho, I don’t like how they taste. 10/10 in my books!
