Happy Canada Day + Brunch

Long weekends are pretty difficult for me. No matter how hard I try, I usually end up in my office working until “J” comes in to politely remind me it’s a holiday. Just one of the many curses of working from home.

Somewhere around noon I managed to tear myself away long enough to make brunch for “J.”  He’s been such a trooper this weekend, helping me with a big summer DIY project, so I figured he deserved a classic bacon + eggs brunch.

Now here’s to hoping my phone doesn’t ring for the rest of the day…
