Types of Cookies to Include in a Holiday Cookie Box
Cookies are a classic, beloved treat that make the perfect gift for any occasion – especially during the holidays. There are a plethora of recipes for cookies, so it can be difficult to decide which type to bake. When I set out to bake the Christmas cookie boxes for my family and friends I had a few criteria for the assortment of recipes: 1) I had to be able to bake them all within a 24-hour time period, and 2) the recipes had to make enough cookies to fill 4-6 boxes.
I can say with confidence and experience that the list of sweet treat recipes below can all be made in 1 day and make enough to fill 4-6 boxes for your family and friends. That said, if you need to make more than 6 boxes and you start making adjustments to the recipes by double or tripling them, I cannot guarantee you’ll be done in one day. But hey, if you love baking and spending time on the kitchen, what’s an extra day!
