Vacation // Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia Halifax Adventures
Visiting Nova Scotia has always been on my to-do list. As a child, we traveled around Ontario a lot, and even took a month-long RV trip out to Alberta, but I have never been out East (most people find this hard to believe because of the amount of travel I do for work, but it’s true, I have never been farther than Quebec). We will be spending most of our time in Halifax and travelling around the province to Yarmouth, Digby and The Cabot Trail. I’m looking forward to the scenery, the food, the drinks, and the fun!

It’s unlikely that I will be posting here during the week, but if you are interested you can catch all my adventures on Twitter & Instagram.

Hope you have a lovely long weekend, and I’ll catch you in a week or so!

  1. That would be great! What are your top 5 MUST visit restaurants/bars in Halifax? We will be there for Canada Day so we are looking to hop around to a few!

  2. For Food: Edna, Agricola Street Brasserie, The Stubborn Goat, A Mano, Chives. And if you're looking for a quick lunch spot anyday, you must try Indochine – their banh mi are INSANE.

For Drinks: Stillwell (Beer Bar), Obladee (Wine Bar), Onyx (Cocktails), The Henry House (laid-back English pub)

For Classic Maritime Vibe: Old Triangle, Lower Deck, Split Crow (preferably on a Saturday afternoon), Durty Nelly's (later in the night)

And Argyle Street is the best place for sunny afternoon patio-ing

    Hope that helps!
