Mid-Week Outdoorsy Excursion

I am an outdoor person, I always have been, always will be… I enjoy doing all the outdoorsy things like hiking, biking, fishing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and if you are new to the blog, running outside.

Yesterday was such a nice day out {which is very rare in this part of Ontario for mid-October} that I just couldn’t bring myself to head inside to the gym.

After a quick phone call to Nikki, we were on our way to walk some trials out by the Grand River.

Despite the fall chill in the air we managed a good trail walk of about an hour and a half… and the scenery was gorgeous! I hate when Fall arrives, but I love seeing the leaves change…

Sidestory:

As we are emerging from the woods a police cruiser comes by and makes a stop beside us {very cute too btw!}…

Officer: “Did you happen to see three young men in there?”….
Nikki and I: “Ummmm … nooo….?”
Officer: “…. ok… thanks…”

Nikki and I look at eachother…

Nikki: “Hmmm… I think we should be glad we didn’t see three young men in there…?”
Me: “I guess so!!”
