Flashback Friday: What I can remember from last summer
Is is just me or is this summer flying by?? I guess it doesn’t help that summer in Ontario is like 2 months long… lol! {Wishing I lived in Hawaii right about now…}
This got me thinking… What did I do last summer? Struggling to pull back the memories I came up with this list of things I actually remember from last summer…
- It rained… a lot!
- I didn’t go on vacation… as a matter of fact, I don’t even think I took my 2 weeks off! Crazy I know…
- I started running and enjoying it! It all started on that old abandon railroad trail.
- Made my first Green Monster.
- I got my new car… which has had 3, yes 3, recalls so far!! I’m sure you can guess what kind it is… {cough, cough… Toyota!}
- We celebrated Jax’s 1st birthday!
- Found a wicked waterfall/hiking trail.
- Started to blog again after a 6 month hiatus!
- Saw a lot of movies.
- Inherited a cat… then gave it back.
- My sister Amanda got engaged…. I did not.
- Started focusing on my digital scrapbooking business… Got a sweet designer position at Polka Dot Plum.

What are your memories like from last summer? Are you finding this summer better than last?
I am glad that this summer has been so busy, fast, and entertaining. I think that I can honestly say that I have done more this summer than I had in the past 2 combined, and the best part is I am reconnecting with all the important people in my life that I had lost touch with over the past 4 years, and I am beginning to understand and appreciate myself! It’s amazing what being single for one summer can do!
