Dear Santa….
I have been a good girl this year!… Oh, what? Last weekend?… Yes I know, but it was my birthday so it doesn’t count… yes it won’t happen again…
Anyways, as I was saying… I have been a good girl this year!
I have been patient, understanding, forgiving, dedicated and above all else, strong!
I never really ask for much, I am more of the “do it/get it for yourself” type… but I really really want these things, and unfortunately my frugelness is preventing me from attaining them…
{See, this is where you come in Santa}
I’m not asking for much…. but just in case you can’t remember them all I made a handy list {complete with pictures, so you know exactly what I am talking about… I’m kinda picky…}
1. Running Shoes. Santa, I am in desperate, d.e.s.p.e.r.a.t.e need of new running shoes! And in all honesty anything will do, but I really want these Nike‘s or Asics. Pretty please 🙂
2. Laureen Ring by Swarovski. Simply because it is beautiful and would look amazing on my finger! Nuff said!
3. Snow Tires. I know I have been driving for 9 years without snow tires, but I wouldn’t mind getting them for Christmas… You are correct though, they will not prevent people from running into me… lol
4. A Digital DSLR Camera. I love taking pictures {in fact most of my friends no longer bring their own cameras to our social gatherings because they know I will be there snapping away…}
5. iPad. I mean, come on! Who doesn’t want an iPad! I loved my iPod Touch, and used it everyday up until its untimely demise… So it’s time for an upgrade don’t you think??
6. Knee High Boots. Santa, I know you saw me last weekend spending almost 20 minutes on my bedroom floor trying to do up my old, raggedy ass, leather knee high boots. Ya I actually gave up because I couldn’t get the zipper up over my new runners calves! Time for a new pair?
7. A Puppy. I think I mentioned this before, that I would love to get a puppy! I guess along with this I should also ask for “Time”… and what the hell, while I am at it “Patience.” Please!
8. My Dishwasher Installed. Even if this was the only thing I get this year, I would be happy! Send one of your elves to do this… but make sure he doesn’t look elfish… it wouldn’t hurt if he looked like this. 😉
9. Long Hair. I know, odd Christmas gift wish, but while I am wishing I might as well wish for long hair… P.S don’t bring me a wig!
10. Snowboarding Gear. With my upcoming trip in February I obviously will need a few new things… I already bought a K2 board when I saw it on sale for 40% off, and I intend on keeping my Burton boots and snowpants… so I just need a jacket, bindings and a snowboard bag.
So, if you could manage to fit all that in your sleigh I would be really appreciative… trust me, I can imagine how hard it is to fit 4 tires in your tiny sleigh… well, maybe if you laid off the cookies a bi… huh? um, never mind…
So I will see you in a week?
